The Mechanix shouldn't be rushed

Mechanix sure is one of the most hyped mechanic that was planned. It promises to make the map creators able to program each element that happens in the game. It won’t be like how Roblox uses an actual programming language to control the game, but it’s far FAR better how Kogama handles it.

But here’s a catch: it’s difficult as hell to implement it. And let’s not forget that the game isn’t in Alpha yet. That means if it’s decided that Inknight will implement this system now he will be limited to implement other features.

I suggest that Inknight polish what he’s already done and make what he needs before he launches Mechanix.

I also suggest to make some win conditions for the game to engage more the players and when the backend, frontend, game engine is ready that’ll mean that Mechanix will be ready to be implemented.

Let’s remember that we are just in the Pre-Alpha version of Blokoto, there is still a long way to go and now only the most important and fundamental for the game will be added.
Mechanix is one of those features that will most likely be implemented before we get to a beta version, it is something too complicated to do and that will result in a long development time, so I doubt it will be released before other priorities. :sweat_smile:

Overall, the Mechanix just like any other feature have to be extensively tested and proved, to certify it has the minimum utility for the finished game.

But it is not so far of receiving changes to fix any kind of issue the players could find out, so it’s not a matter of what will be the correct date to launch the Mechanix, but something i believe to have the first tasting phase features to get the players feedback later.

Even if Mechanix found itself not finished and featuring a lot of issues, that’s not a problem, since like the extension tool, the Mechanix if needed can be removed for a while to improve what is wrong, and later re-added to get once more the people feedback.
