This bug shown below is the one of the many ways to reproduce it, that i also tested before to report here:
The issue happens when:
- A placeholder texture is just created when clicking the + button, and it also has a random mask by default too. When we switch the mask to another one (any other in short), the mask preview immediately gets broken, and it is not possible to view this anymore.

Changing the actual mask to the “blank” pattern, and changing to another “filled” texture mask later, make it happens the same way like i said above.

Even when there is no texture mask after a placeholder texture has already been introduced here by default, changing in order to get some mask also brokes the preview likewise.
