Grid can't be edited in avatar creator

Describe the issue

When creating avatars, it is impossible to edit the drawing grid either by clicking or by editing the current “layer” number manually. It also can’t be focused via keyboard using tab/shift+tab. The grid feature behaves normally when editing worlds, so this is likely a focus/layering issue specific to the avatar editor HUD.

Steps to reproduce

When editing any part of an avatar, enable the grid and try to use the arrow buttons/edit the layer number.

It looks like a certain issue that took place for a while suddenly during some earlier version, since the grid was really buggy when using it. It was reported as already fixed during the Alpha 1.2.0, the next game version.
