The Daily Rewards system is a new way to get back to players who actively log themselves into the website frequently:
Overview
Rewards
-
Starting days of the week include Blokoins
-
Interval days (between starting-middle and middle-end) include Textures and Models made by asset creators
-
Middle days of the week include items related to the future Cosmetic Shop
- A discount ranging from -10% and -20% across items. Whether this will apply to all items regardless of rarity is up for debate. Lasts 6 hours upon collecting.
- A chest containing a random accessory of one rarity. You can view what the chest contains by hovering over it.
-
End of the week days include Avatars created by developers, including Exclusive cosmetic shop items (if you already own them, you get a different common/uncommon accessory instead)
- Accessory depicted in Day 14 is a Back Accessory of a calendar. Flops around back and forth when walking, displaying a number on the front. (As an easter egg, the number could be the day Blokoto was released?)
- Accessory depicted in Day 28 is a Particle effect of falling calendars.
-
Day 29 (second-to-last) is a calendar-themed avatar Decoration. If you already own this decoration, you get Blokoins instead.
(I’m aware the text can cause localisation issues - this is only a concept after all) -
Day 30 (last day) is a special Badge with a levelling system - the number increases every time you complete a monthly daily reward calendar.
Information
Clicking on the top left corner opens a new tab that roughly conveys what the Daily Reward system is and how it works.
(Yes - it’s not as punishing as Kogama’s streak system. Badge is also permanent!)
See Past Calendars
Clicking on the button at the bottom right corner brings up a yearly history of all of your calendars: what you’ve completed, what you’ve left unfinished and what you’ve entirely missed. Also, upcoming calendars.
Why is December red? Because it’s a special Advent Calendar with only 24 days! What goodies it holds instead is up for discussion…
The reasoning behind asset rewards is simple: you want to incentivise people to build and create games. New players, however, don’t have much to start with, unless they purchase Blokoins. And we know how it is with micro-transactions…
Asset rewards were also mentioned since there isn’t a lot to work with concerning the game’s current state…
