About optimization

Hello. I’ve been testing Blokoto and I’m seeing a serious optimization problem. How on earth is it that a game like Kogama, which ran well at maximum settings and on moderately detailed maps, doesn’t even allow me to open the editor mode in Blokoto? It runs at terrible FPS. I don’t know if it’s because you have too many scripts or duplicate or poorly optimized files, or if you’re developing it in UE5. Another thing: it seems ridiculous that you have to manually choose the rendering controller every time you launch a game. It would be fantastic if it could be saved, or if the game itself could do it automatically to avoid problems. I hope you can improve the game’s optimization.

The game is going to receive some updates about its optimization until the next version release, mostly because of many changes that have been made on its architecture, that actually improves the way the platform behaves when playing, so it should be better by the day when it could finally be there to the public.

Regarding the settings, indeed it should be improved as well, that’s such an annoying thing when you have to run against the time just for choosing another ordinary renderer to the game, also something that resets every single time, what a shame. I’m not sure if it will actually arrive at this update, but it’s something we already know that must have to change.

By the way, we are not developing it on Unreal Engine, we are actually on Godot Engine.
