Currently, the original spawnpoint can be interacted with normally and even deleted if there’s another spawnpoint in the world. The problem is that, even after being deleted, it still persists in the world, invisible, and works like a normal spawnpoint, except you can’t interact anymore.
Perhaps this is being confused with the player “spawning in the wrong place”.
Problem persists if you restart the map. Through a test map I discovered that the problem is fixed when you switch sessions. If you a different enter a map, wait a bit, and then return to the map with the problem, the original spawnpoint will have stopped working and finally died.
I also discovered that it happens with any spawnpoint, not just the original one. The function to delete the spawnpoint only deletes the visualization and interaction, but it is still there, hidden, like a predator in the wild. Feeding on my patience.
